If you could paint any flower, which one would you choose?

I was trying to get away from painting so many flowers,  But…  when I saw an open invitation for Artists to paint at

Mischler's Florist, your flower shop and greenhouse in Williamsville, delivering flowers and gifts to the Williamsville, New York area daily.

I had to go.   (also, Husband was home, the weather was gorgeous, and the house was clean)

I did get started late, because life in the form, of a daughter having a slight emotional  breakdown happened, but get there I did.  (stressed because of said daughter and being late)  The people at Mischeler’s were so kind, and I was allowed to group together some gorgeous flowers, in a spot that had dappled sunlight. After about 2 hours of painting, I was tired of standing, and tense from concentrating, so called it a day .The oil paint would be better to let it dry a little before I put more paint on anyway.

Here is my palette- which I thought was pretty cool looking.

and here is it  after working for a couple of hours more.

I think I am done now, but I am not sure about the bright green leaves on the beebalm.  They were catching the complete sun, but I am not sure…. may change them later.

This is done in oil on 16 x 20 panel.
