I love finding old pieces of glass and breathing new life into them with paint. This was a cut glass bowl in a very popular style, I see this style everywhere. It is heavy so I don’t usually like to paint it. ( I have to lug this glass to shows!) But I saw this, and it just looked like it needed to be dark blue.
In the sunlight it does look like there is some purple going on. This next picture is what it looks like under indoor light.
Then I found this glass tray. I have never seen one before! It has ridges on the back. It needed a bold random design on it. This is what crossed my mind. I can see this on my dining room table with some crackers and cheese on.
