This is the second bouquet I painted from the lilies of the field subscription. I planned on painting all of the bouquets on 20 by 20 inch gallery wrapped canvases. I couldn’t do it. I mostly think larger when painting. This is oil of more lilies. I have a love/hate relationship with lilies. They are beautiful almost too beautiful to paint. As always it is hard to come close to copying what God made.
This burst of color would brighten any room. It would look stunning with the other two square 20 by 20 inch flower paintings I did from the lilies of the field subscription.
